The Penguin

People who love each other with all their hearts and souls and are destined from the beginning to be together forever and ever. When an emperor penguin finds a mate they stay together forever, if one is to die the other will never want another because their bond was unbreakable. I know that it is as corny as it could be, but I found my penguin. The man that I am going to spend my life with and whatever comes after this life I want to share it with Neal. Emperor penguins spend their life looking for their soul mates and they do not rest until they find them, I was lucky enough that when I was not even expecting to find my soul mate, we found each other. Penguins are beautiful creatures that once they find their love they stick together through sickness, weather, and they truly share their lives together. When they have babies they both share in the responsibilities...I really love this animal and I have been thinking alot about them with our wedding drawing near. Tomorrow my love will be home, and Wed. I will become Mrs. Neal Richmond! And I am so very happy!

The Mc Donalds Toy

So last night we had a raging storm. It was pretty intense. I spoke to my hubby for a good two hours and realized I was completely over reacting and I could just go to bed and everything was fine. I fell asleep quick because I was exausted from panicing for no reason, but I was awaken about 2 AM by this EXTREMELY LOUD video game sound. The sound only lasted maybe 5 seconds but it was loud enough to jolt me from my sound sleep with my nails dug into the ceiling. I sat in bed until my heart stopped racing and I checked just to make sure I did not mess my pants. All was good so I laid back down and started to drift back to sleep, BUT then I heard it again...and again....and again...every 45 minutes almost as if on a timer from hell. What was making that annoying, loud noise. (And how could Koughen possibly sleep like a peaceful angel through it!) Finally at 5 AM after tearing the kids rooms apart I gave up my hunt for this dreadful peice of plastic and realized my alarm was going to go off in less then an hour and I may as well try and just enjoy my comfy bed while I could. Apparently I didn't just lay and relax, I passed out cold! And to my surprise at 7 AM I woke up, my alarm clock was never set last night! I bolted from bed and ran to Koughens room and he was up and announced that he had slept in! I asked him before he could get another peep out of him where his toy was that was making all the noise. He giggled, crawled out of bed and went right to the Mc Donalds Happy Meal toy and gave it to me. It took all i had not to do the mexican hat dance right on it's American Idol Happy face. I calmly turned it off and told Koughen we both had about 5 minutes to get ready, that is total not 5 minutes each because since Mama was up all night hunting for the noise maker she didn't get any sleep and had slept in also! I think toys should come with sensors that know if it is dark, and if it is dark they automatically go silent!!! The toy is now enjoying its new home....the garbage can!

About Me and My Christie Lou

You're...My Friend, my companion, through good times and bad. My friend, my buddy, through happy and sad, beside me you stand, beside me you walk, you're there to listen, you're there to talk, with happiness, with smiles, with pain and tears, I know you'll be there, throughout the years!
When I was very little, 3 years old to be exact! I met my very best friend. We were flowers, I remember being a blue ball of fluff. We have had the most exciting adventures and have been there for our most embarassing moments, trials that life has thrown at us and everything in between. Every milestone in my life she has been there from me washing my butt in the freezing cold river because I just could not possibly wait to make it back to camp while we were out four wheeling, sleepovers, throwing up in her car our first New Years on the town (we were sixteen and I didn't know my limit, I thought my bottle was my limit!), losing people we loved, laughing until we cried or almost pee'd our pants. She has given me some of the best advice, except for the "let it out slowly while you walk and no one will know" she knows what I am talking about and EVERY ONE KNEW!!! I look up to her for her strength, her grace and her sense of humor among the millions of other things. She is my very best friend. Christie, Thank you for everything.

23 days and counting down!!

"Once in awhile, right in the middle of ordinary everyday life, Love gives us our own fairytale"

November 26th I will be the luckiest gal in the whole world. This day I will marry the love of my life. I cannot tell you how insanely happy I am. I wonder through my days in a blissful haze, happy in love and in life. Every morning I wake up with the comfort of knowing I am not in this alone, I have an amazing man to be there for me and I for him to take on this world and all its ups and downs. We have Reverend George coming to preform the ceremony. He is a jolly man with a big booming laugh and hair as white as the big Clause himself. In fact, one might even play with the thought that he is Santa Clause in the flesh! Our Jada will be our beautiful flower girl and Koughen will be walking me down the aisle. (a.k.a. our hallway into the living room). I cannot wait to walk around the corner and look into my sweethearts eyes and know that this man I will share my life with and have given my whole heart too. Every breath, every heart beat, every dream is wrapped up in our little family. And the time that we have been together seems like it has always been that way, us together. There has never been a moment where we felt that we were strangers getting to know eachother. Neal and I have always been connected as though fate would always find a way to bring us together. The meaning of soul mates...this is true love!

HALLOWEEN 2008

Koughen and I had the funnest time trick or treating this halloween! The entire neighborhood was alive with the spirit of the holiday and even the dogs were in on it. It always cracks me up to see animals dressed up, but this poor little poodle will always take the grand prize. He was dressed up like a little jail bird in his stripes with a little hat strapped to his head. The look of pure irritation was so apparent on his little face I couldn't help but burst out laughing in the middle of the street at him. He turned his little nose in shame and put his head down. Koughen made out like a bandit with candy to last for the rest of his life! We were out for about an hour and then when we got home he was so excited to give candy to the other kids. Kids are so wonderful. I loved seeing all the little ones dressed in their costumes and into the moment. We ran out of two huge bags of candy that I thought we would have oodles left of in about 45 min and then I had to turn the lights off and pretend we were not home! Next year I know to buy in bulk!

Thank you "D"

I had a different blogsite going, but as luck has it for me, I couldn't get it to work right! I didn't have all the right gizmo's and gadgets. So my best buddy ever created a new blog for me. I am making a promise right now to write something everyday! I want to be able to share our lives with our friends and family that is are so far away. Thank you "D"
